■TurningpowerON/OFF
q Push[ ]toturnthepowerON.
 •TheinitialscreenandWARNINGscreensappear.
w Push[ENTER]tostartoperation.
 •Thewarmingupscreenappears.
 • The magnetron inside the scanner unit warms up for 90
seconds.
e When the warming up is complete, the operating
screen appears to start operation.
r Push[BRILL],andthen[u],toselecttheRadarTX
menu.
t Rotate[DIAL]toselect“TX,”thenpush[ENTER]to
start scanning.
 •Targetsandheadingmarkerappear.
 •Thescreenappearsapproximately2secondsafter
pushing [ENTER], when“Auto”isselected in the
“TUNE”ofthe“Gain”menu.
Repeat step r and t,andselect“STBY,”then
push[ENTER]toreturntothestand-bymodeof
the Scanner transmission.
y Holddown[ ]for3secondstoturnthepower
OFF.
q If any other than Radar screen appears, hold
down[LAYOUT](FOCUS)for2secondstoenter
the screen selection mode.
w Rotate [DIAL] to select Radar, then push
[ENTER].
