OTHER FUNCTIONS
TLL function
The TLL (Target Latitude and Longitude) function
marks the target on the display or outputs its data to
an external unit.
D TLL setting
1. Push [MENU]/[ ] to display the Menu screen.
2. Push [t] or [u] to select the System menu.
3. Push [p] or [q] to select the “TLL Mode” item.
4. Push [ENTER]/[ ] to enter the option selection
mode.
5. Push [t] or [u] to select an option.
L “Output,” “Symbol,” and “Output & Symbol” are
selectable.
6. Push [ENTER]/[ ] to save the setting.
7. Push [MENU]/[ ] to exit the Menu screen.
D Information box
1. Move the cross-line cursor onto a mark.
2. Push [ENTER]/[ ] to display the information.
The target identication number, position, bearing
(BRG), distance (DIST), Time to go (TTG), and day/
time (Day/Time) are displayed.
L To close the information box, move the cursor to
anywhere there is no mark, then push [ENTER]/
[
].

D Operation
Select a target on the screen that you want to mark.
1. Move the cross-line cursor onto a place.
2. Hold down [ACQ•TLL]/[ TLL] for 1 second to
mark the point.
L When the “Output” or “Output & Symbol” is selected
in the “TLL Mode” in the System menu, outputs the
position information from the NMEA output terminal.
L When the “Symbol” or “Output & Symbol” is selected
in the “TLL Mode” of the System menu, displays the
target mark.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until you complete marking
places.
L Hold down [CLEAR]/[ ] for 1 second to delete
the selected mark.
