■ Memory clearing
Contents of programmed memories can be cleared (blanked),
if desired.
q Push [V/MHz•SCAN] to select VFO mode.
w Push [S.MW•MW] momentarily.
•“!” indicator and the memory channel number blink.
e Rotate [DIAL] to select the memory channel to be cleared.
• Memory channels not yet programmed are blank.
r Push [S.MW•MW] momentarily, then push [S.MW•MW]
again for 1 sec.
☞ This operation must be performed within 1.5 sec.
•3 beeps sound, then the frequency is cleared.
•“!” indicator and the channel number blink continuously.
•When clearing the call channel, the current VFO conditions are
re-programmed into the call channel automatically.
t Push [V/MHz•SCAN] to return to VFO mode.
☞NOTE: Be careful!— the contents of cleared memories
CANNOT be recalled.
[EXAMPLE]: Clearing memory channel 20.
Push to select VFO.
Rotate for selecting memory channel.
Push .
Push any switch, except .
Push momentarily, then push again for 1 sec.
