■ Receiving a call
D Individual call
q When an individual call is received:
• Beeps sound.
• “
” is displayed and the mute is released.
• The entered text message (Example: “
”) and the calling
station ID (or text) is alternately displayed, depending on the pre-
setting.
• “
” is displayed or blinks, depending on the presetting.

w Hold down [PTT], and then speak into the microphone at your
normal voice level.
• The transmit/busy indicator lights red.
e Release [PTT] to return to receive.
• The transmit/busy indicator lights green while receiving a signal.
r To finish the conversation, push [P3] (Moni(Audi)) to send a
“Clear down” signal.
• Either station can send a clear down signal.
• “
” is displayed for approximately 2 seconds.
• “
” disappears and the transceiver returns to the standby condi-
tion.
