D Receiving a Position Request Call
When a Position Request Call is received:
The alarm sounds for 2 minutes.
“RCVD POS REQUEST” is displayed. The backlight blinks
for 2 minutes.
q Push [ALARM OFF] to stop the alarm and the blinking
backlight.
Even if you do not push [ALARM OFF], the alarm stops after 2
minutes, and then the screen in step w is displayed.
w Push a softkey to select your desired action.
[IGN]
Push to ignore the Call and return to the normal operating
mode.
The transceiver exits the DSC mode.

Call Log.

Push to display the Received call information. (p. 63)
[UNABLE] (For only USA version transceivers)
Push to transmit the “Unable to Comply” acknowledgement.
The call is saved in the DSC Log.
[ABLE] (For only USA version transceivers)
Push to transmit the “Able to Comply” acknowledgement.
The call is saved in the DSC Log.
[ACK]
Push to display the “POSITION REPLY” screen and send
a reply to the Call. (p. 49)
When “POSITION ACK” is set to “Auto TX,” the transceiver
automatically replies to the Call. In that case, both the TX
and RX calls are stored in the Transmitted and Received
Call Logs.
