■ General
The transceiver has 100 memory channels (plus 3 pairs of scan
edges and 1 call channel) for storage of often-used frequencies.
D Memory channel contents
The following information can be programmed into the memory:
• Operating frequency
• Duplex direction (+ or –) with an offset frequency (pgs. 21, 22)
• Subaudible tone encoder or tone squelch ON/OFF (pgs. 21, 37)
• Subaudible tone and tone squelch frequencies (pgs. 22, 38)
• Skip information* (p. 34)
*But not scan edge channels.

w Enter 2 digits to select the desired memory
channel (or push the [Y]/[Z] keys).
• The memory channels 0–9 are proceeded
by a “0.”
• When [VOL] is assigned as tuning dial, ro-
tate [VOL] to select the memory channel.
