NOTE: While receiving a signal (on a frequency other than
the weather alert ON frequency), the received signal or
audio will be interrupted momentarily approximately every
5 seconds when the alert function is turned ON. This is
caused by the WX alert function. To eliminate the interrup-
tion, set the weather alert item OFF in the Set mode.
