I used the Keychain Remote and the light level is different now. Why?
A Light Button On signal will always turn (or leave) the lights on to full brightness and a
Light Button Off signal will always turn (or leave) the lights off, irrespective of the
brightness level of the lamp when the signal is received.
If I buy another Lamp module, can my Keychain Remote control it?
Yes. The Keychain Remote that comes with your Starter Kit is configured from the
factory to control the Lamp module that comes with the kit. If you purchase additional
Lamp modules or Keychain Remotes, you will need to add an automation to enable the
Keychain Remote to turn on or off existing or newly purchased Lamp modules.

My lamp module isnt installing, what should I do?
There are four things to try in this situation.
1. Check the outlet youve plugged the lamp module in to. Make sure that it is
working correctly and isnt controlled by a switch.
2. Check if your iControl gateway is currently receiving its power from a UPS
(uninterruptible power supply) or a power strip with surge protection. If it is
plug it in directly to a wall outlet or power strip without surge protection.
3. Check the ID on the lamp module and make sure it matches the one
installed on your system.
o To do this, look at the label on the back side of the lamp module,
the physical ID is printed below the second bar code and is 12
characters long. This ID should match the one that is listed on the
iControl Portal for your device. It can be viewed by logging onto
your portal, clicking on System Tab and clicking on the lamp
module youre troubleshooting. If the ID listed is not the same as the
one on the devices label, you can click on the replace button, and
enter the ID of the lamp module you have in your kit (12 digits, no
punctuation).
4. If none of the above solves the problem, try connecting the lamp module
to another circuit in your house.
