If you have multiple devices, you can select which camera, thermostat, or
lamp module will respond. Not all devices of a particular type need to act
in the same manner.
Adding and Editing Automations
To add or edit a new automation (e.g., turning on the lights when the Motion sensor
detects that an area such as a hallway, lobby, or kitchen is occupied), follow these steps:
1. Click on the Automations tab.
2. Click on the ‘Add Automation’ button on the right-hand side of the window
to add an automation, or on a pencil icon to edit an existing automation.
Clicking on the ‘Add Automation’ button, will open a New Automation
window.
3. Choose the trigger for the automation by clicking on the down arrow. (In
our example, ‘Motion Sensor Occupied’ was chosen as a trigger for the
automation.)
Down arrow gives you access to all the devices in your System that can trigger an automation.
