1. First, set the heat setpoint of your Thermostat. Click the ‘QuikControl’
button in the blue menu bar and select ‘Home Thermostat’ (the name you
gave your Thermostat). In the new QuikControl Home Thermostat window
that appears, use the drop-down menus to select your desired heat and
cool setpoints. Here, we chose ‘68°’ as the heat setpoint and ‘72°’ as the
cool setpoint. We want the heat to come on so ‘Heat’ is selected. We want
the fan to circulate the heat but we want the fan to shut off when the heat
turns off, so we selected ‘Auto’ under Fan.
Select heating as the mode.
Choose the temperature at which you want the heat to come on.
Set fan to ‘Auto’ to turn it on when heating and off when heating is complete.
Click on ‘Set’ to save your settings.
2. Click on the ‘Set’ button to save your choices.
3. Click on the Schedules tab to go to the Schedules window.
4. Click on the ‘Add Schedule’ button.
5. In the Name box, give the schedule a name such as ‘Weekday Home
Thermostat Schedule - AM’.
6. Click on ‘>> to’ to reveal some additional options.
7. Use the drop-down menus to select 7:00AM as your start time and
8:30AM as your end time.
8. We’ll have this schedule operate only on weekdays, so make sure the
Mon-Fri checkboxes are checked and the Sat and Sun checkboxes are
unchecked.
