PREPARING FOR INITIAL USE

1. Setting the Battery on transmitter.

2. Ensure that the Li-ion battery is installed and fully charged before initial use.

3. Check line and power connections.

4. Push the transmitter TALK button to confirm. If you do not get a lcd display, please refer to

the Troubleshooting chart.

OPERATION

To Start a record (TALK MODE)

1. Press TALK button on the transmitter. The IN-USE indicator will light up solid when it finds

a clear channel.

2. Check the recording indicator (after the recorder is working).

To End a record (Standby Mode)

If you picked up the transmitter from the docking station :

✦ Since the ID-900TR features “Auto-Standby,” simply return the transmitter to the docking

station to end the record. The ID-900TR will automatically go to standby mode.

If you picked up the transmitter away from the docking station :

✦ Press the TALK button to end the record if you were away from the docking station when

you picked up the record. The ID-900TR will go to standby mode.
