2. VP5300M: Electrical
Voltage requirement: 12V DC (minimum) is recommended, to 24V maximum.
Battery: The unit contains a small lithium battery to power the Real
Time Clock and certain anti- tamper features. This battery has a shelf
life of five years. The battery is not user replaceable. Do not
attempt to open the VP5300M for any reason; this will trigger the
anti-tamper features, causing the unit to become inoperable. If a
replacement battery is required, return the VP5300M to ID TECH.
