Dual-18” Multipurpose & Touring Active Subwoofer
QuickStart Guide
BASSO36-A is classic design dual 18˝ Direct Radiation subwoofer that
meets all the expectations for this well-known industry standard
solution for Touring and large venues and High-SPL applications.
This active subwoofer features an integrated amp module capable
of handling up to 3 Kw and provides a linear response typical of
subwoofers from 36 Hz with both deep low frequency response
and excellent impulse and transient denition. Thanks to a carefully
designed and tuned cabined and eight symmetrical front-ring ports
that allow for extremely linear excursion of woofers, maximizing their
SPL response and minimizing mechanical noises and distortion.
A high-end 24bit @ 48kHz AD/DA integrated DSP board allows for quick
and precise adjustments thanks to advanced limiters and FIR lters and
4 selectable Set-up presets.
Like All IDEA Loudspeakers BASSO36-A is built with the necessary
structural strength and nish quality required for durable touring use.
The high quality 18 mm birch plywood enclosure coated with IDEA
Aquaforce custom paint solution and a 2-mm steel front grille.

BASSO36-A features an integrated 3.2 kW Class-D power module equipped with PowerCON 32A Mains connectors and XLR
balanced audio signal connectors allowing for a simple, straightforward power and audio linking of the array elements.
The 24-bit high-resolution integrated DSP board allows for easy access to four
preloaded presets, just toggling the press-button PRESET SELECT in the back
control pannel. The active preset will be indicated by the active led above its
number.
