3. Use the */UP and #/DOWN buttons to select the zone you wish to enable/disable, and
press ARM/DISARM to confirm your selection.
4. Use the */UP or #/DOWN buttons to change the setting, and the ARM/DISARM
button to confirm your selection.
5. Press the HOME button to exit programming mode.
4.2. Zones
The alarm centre has 10 separate zones. Sensors are linked to a
specific zone. When an alarm is triggered, the zone of the
triggered sensor is displayed on screen, or indicated over the
phone by a sequence of beeps.
4.2.1. Zones 1-7
Zones 1 7 can be assigned only one sensor each, and will trigger the alarm only in ARMED mode.
4.2.2. Zone 8S
Zone 8S can be assigned up to eight sensors, and will trigger the alarm only in ARMED mode.
4.2.3. 24-Hour (always armed) zone
The 24-hour zone can be assigned up to 8 sensors, and will trigger the alarm in any mode.
4.2.4. Remote zone
The Remote zone can be assigned up to 8 remote controls.
4.3. Operating by keypad
4.3.1. Arming
1. Enter your password followed by the ARM/DISARM button.
2. The word ARM will appear on screen and you will hear three short beeps, followed by a 60-
second exit delay.
3. If a door or window is open, the system will beep for 5 seconds and the screen will showCLOSE
PLEASE” along with the zone number.
4. After 60 seconds, you will hear another beep. The system is now armed. If the open sensor has
not been closed, the alarm cycle will start.
NOTE: Arming the system while in HOME mode will disable HOME mode. After disarming, you will need
to activate HOME mode again.
4.3.2. Disarming
1. Enter your password, followed by the ARM/DISARM button.
2. You will hear one long beep, and the word ARM will no longer appear on screen.
4.3.3. Activating Home Mode
1. Press the HOME button once.
