Instructions
1. Turn off power before removing or installing connectors.
2. Strip wires: Model 61® - #14 to #16 = 3/8 in. (10mm); Model 62® = 1/2 in. (16mm); Model 63® = 5/8 in. (16mm)
#18 to #22 = 7/16 in. (11mm).
3. Straighten wires and align frayed strands.
4. Hold wires together with ends even. Lead stranded wires slightly ahead of solid wires.
5. Pre-twisting is recommended, but not required. For pre-twisting; strip wires long, hold wires together with insulation
even, twist wire ends together, trim to recommended strip length.
6. Insert wire bundle through center of pie-wedge shaped cap and twist clockwise until tight.
Instrucciones:
1. Desconecte la alimentación eléctrica antes de quitar o instalar conectores.
2. Pele los cables: Model 61® - #14 to #16 = 10mm (3/8 pulg.); Model 62® = 16mm (5/8 pulg.); Model 63® = 16mm (5/8 pulg.)
#18 to #22 = 11mm (7/16 pulg.)
3. Enderece los conductores y alinee los torones deshilachados.
4. Sostenga los cables pelados juntos con los extremos al ras. Coloque los cables trenzados ligeramente más adelante de los macizos.
5. Se recomienda, pero no se requiere, retorcer previamente los cables. Para pretorcerlos, pele los conductores a lo largo, sosténgalos juntos con el
aislamiento al ras, retuerza los extremos de los cables y recórtelos a la longitud de pelado recomendada.
6. Inserte el haz de cables a través del centro con forma de pastel del capuchón y retuérzalo en sentido horario hasta que quede apretado.
