PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials and inspect the coffee machine and its accessories for damages.
When doing so, also follow the Safety Instructions. Keep all packaging materials away from children.
POWER SUPPLY
This device runs on a 220-240V~50Hz power supply.
OPERATING THE DEVICE
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.  Some parts of the device become very hot during operation. Use corresponding grips and handle to 
touch the device.
2.  Do not open the water tank lid (11) during operation.
3.  Do not use the coffee pot (4) if it is visibly damaged with, for example, cracks or fractures.
4.  Do not place the empty coffee pot on the hot plate (8).
5.  Only place the coffee pot on the hot plate when you are brewing coffee.
REMOVING MANUFACTURING RESIDUES
1.  Attention! Prior to using the device for the rst time, let it run two or three times with fresh, cold water, 
but no coffee grounds. After this process, clean the coffee machine as described in Cleaning and 
Maintenance.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
When brewing coffee, always make sure that the coffee pot is clean. Residue in the coffee pot may have a 
negative effect on the coffee's avor.
1.  Push on the lever (3) of the coffee pot lid to open it.
2.  Fill the coffee pot with fresh, clean and cold water and pour the water into the water tank (10). The 
desired number of cups can be read from the lling level marking (4).
3.  Open the water tank lid (11) and ll the water tank (10) with water up to marking for the desired number 
of cups. The level of water or number of cups can be read using the level indicator of the water tank (10). 
Never ll the water tank over marking 10 - (for large cups). The marking 10 – (for large cups) indicates 
the maximum number of cups that can be made at once.
INSERTING THE FILTER
1.  Swing the funnel (1) open. The funnel holds the removable lter holder (13).
2.  Insert a paper coffee lter (size 1 x 4) into the lter holder.
3.  Fill the desired amount of coffee grounds into the coffee lter. Use the provided measuring spoon (5).
4.  Close the funnel and make sure it locks into place.
5.  Only place the glass jug (4) on the hotplate once the funnel is closed.
STARTING THE BREWING PROCESS
Attention! 
The brewing process can be interrupted or stopped at any time by switching the on/off switch I/0 (7) to 0, 
which turns the machine off.
Danger of Burns! 
The hot plate (8) the coffee pot stands on during brewing gets hot. During the brewing process do not lean 
over the steam escape opening (12) as hot steam escapes.
