Warranty Information:
Product Warranty:
idh warrants that all its products are free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of
ten (10) years from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser when properly installed and use
of the product is as intended by idh. The original purchaser must occupy the premise upon which
the product was originally installed. Conditions such as but not limited to the following causes are
not the responsibility of idh: accidental damage, improper installation, misuse of the product,
adverse weather and temperature conditions, or improper maintenance. idh does not assume any
obligations other than the replacement and or repair of the defective part(s) under warranty. idh is
not liable for any labor costs, installation expenses, freight cost or any incidental or any
consequential damages resulting from defective products.
Finish Warranty:
idh products with coated finishes are guaranteed not to tarnish, pit, flake or discolor for a period of
either five (5) years from the date of purchase for interior use or one (1) year from the date of
purchase for exterior use. Product finish warranty only applies to the original purchaser who
occupies the premise upon which the product was originally installed.
Applicable to all idh finishes, excluding Polished Brass No Lacquer (3NL) Finish
Living Finish - applicable to Polished Brass No Lacquer (3NL) Finish:
Without a coating, Polished Brass No Lacquer finish products will react to the environment, which
will create a charismatic appearance. Frequency of use can further develop character in the age
appearance of the finish. These finish transformations are not considered manufacturing defects
and are reflective of a living finish. As a result, Polished Brass No Lacquer (3NL) finishes are not
covered by a finish warranty.
