Use the Remote Access option to enable or disable access to the remote functionalities
of the system.

Disabled DEFAULT
Remote access is disabled.

Enabled
Remote access configuration options shown below
appear:
 Serial Port Number
 Serial Port Mode
 Flow Control
 Redirection after BIOS POST
 Terminal Type
 VT-UTF8 Combo Key Support
 Sredir Memory Display Delay
These configuration options are discussed below.
 Serial Port Number [COM1]
Use the Serial Port Number option to select the serial port used for remote access.

COM1 DEFAULT
System is remotely accessed through COM1

COM2
System is remotely accessed through COM2
NOTE: Make sure the selected COM port is enabled through the Super I/O configuration
menu.
 Base Address, IRQ [3F8h,4]
The Base Address, IRQ option cannot be configured and only shows the interrupt
address of the serial port listed above.
