GuardStove Online Settings User Manual! In order to take advantage of these features your iGuardStove must first be connected to your homes wireless Wi-Fi router. Please go to page 3 of this manual and follow the instructions on how to connect your iGuardStove.
Wireless Setup Register a New Account (A) WI-FI WPS AUTOMATIC CONNECTION For newer routers you can use the very simple WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) feature. Simply go into Menu and down to Wireless Setup and then chose Connect with WPS option. To Register or Open your new account go to https://manage.iguardfire.com where you will see this screen example below. Just fill in the information and then choose “Register” at the bottom.
Home Page Add Your iGuardStove Device Below is a sample of your Home page. This sample is named Bill’s Home page and he has 3 iGuardStoves added to his account. Each line will show from left to right the • The name that you gave the the stove. • The colored icon showing the current status or last action of the stove. • The name of that status or last action. • Then 3 page buttons named History, Settings and Alerts & Contacts. When “Adding” or “Registering” a new device you will be asked 3 questions.
Settings – Auto Shut Off Timer Settings – Child Lock The Auto Shut Off Timer value is the amount of time you can be away from the cooking area before the iGuardStove will shut off the stove automatically. The default from the factory is 5 minutes. You can adjust it anywhere between 1 to 15 minutes. Please keep in mind that a lot can happen when your cooking is allowed to run unattended even for even 5 minutes so keep the time shorter rather than longer. Once this is set you won’t need to adjust it.
Settings – Late Night Lock Settings – Additional Features This feature allows you to disable the stove during certain hours of certain days of the week. This will prevent someone from waking at 3am and then deciding to cook everyone breakfast and then falling back asleep with the stove left on. There are 2 additional settings: 1. Safety Lock – This will completely disable the stove from all use until you decide to relinquish control back to the user in the kitchen. 2.
Room Temperature Alerts Shut Off Odometer The temperature sensor is designed to warn you if the ambient temperature in the kitchen area is getting to dangerous levels either too high or too low. This can alert you that maybe the furnace has quit and the pipes are at risk of freezing or that the air conditioner has failed and the house is too hot and your loved one needs to be removed from the home immediately. The Shut Off Odometer is an amazing feature. How it works is this.
History – Calendar View History – Daily View This Calendar view gives you a quick way to see what's been happening with the stove in the last 12 months. This example shows the “Last 5 Weeks”. Icons of concern are red or orange and less important are in blues or other similar colors. Simple “Power On” icons are green. There is a number in brackets beside each event telling the number of times that event occurred that day.
History – Calendar View History – Calendar View (cont.) The Daytime and Nighttime Activity Monitors help you keep an eye on what's happening in the heart of the home. We’ve heard of loved ones falling and unable to get up and going hours or days before being discovered. Now you have a motion sensor in the heart of the home. (Keep in mind this has nothing to do with the stove protection. Its just motion sensor based feature.) Each time motion is seen the Grace Period gets pushed out throughout the day.
Contacts List – (Family, Friends & Care workers) Commercial Account-Add a Manager This area manages your Contacts List of who you want to receive which Alerts. They WILL NOT have access to settings. (See Managers in next column.) In the example below you can pick certain people to get these Alerts. The “Alert Method” allows to to choose the delivery method to each person by either text, email or both. The “Alert Criteria” has 3 choices. 1.
Managers Permissions Managers Permissions (cont.) When you click into Logan’s settings you can choose what to give him access to. In the left column you can choose either View Events and/or Change Settings. This will limit what the Managers can see and change. You can also change which alerts they will receive and for which stoves. This will be handy if you have different staff working different areas of the building. One staff member or manager will not get alerts that do not relate to them.

Online Features Operating the iGuardStove 1. POWER When the iGuardStove is installed it is powered all the time. It draws only 5 watts of power while in the standby mode so you will not need to shut it off. In Standby/Sleep the screen is dark. iGuardStove will wake up and the screen will come on when it senses you are in the area. If you are simply coming into the kitchen for other reasons then it will work as a motion controlled night light.

Commercial Account-Add a Manager Managers Permissions With your Commercial Account you have the ability to add Managers who will have their own access to the stoves and their settings. Managers can have access to settings where a normal Contact can’t. The main profile is the account owner and the list of Managers is below that. In this example Mike has been added as a Manager. (lower Image) - Once a Manager has been added you can give them permission to either view the data, change the settings or both.

iGuardStove Control Panel Display & Settings See the different screen shots of the features in the iGuardStove stove fire monitoring system. Main Screen This is the Main Screen while in sleep mode. The top portions shows the status of the stove. The bottom part shows Manual in the middle and Menu on the right. Manual will allow you to enter into the timer to set the Manual Timer. The Menu button (press and hold for 2 seconds to enter menu) will access all the settings listed below.
Update Settings Once changes are made to the Internet settings the iGuardStove may require that you load the updates to the device. This is accomplished by selecting Update Settings feature. Timer Settings NOTE: This option will on ly appear if the device has NEVER been connected to Wi-Fi. If you do not see the option, but want this abil ity you must reset the devices Factory Defaults. Keep in kind when yo u do th is you lose t he Wi-Fi connection and those features. This is to change the default times for both the Auto Shut Off Timer and the Manual Timer. While inside Menu use the Up Down buttons to sc rol l down to Timer Settings and hit Select.

Reminder Alerts ALERT SETTINGS - You can choose to have an Alert Reminder beep 5 seconds before the device wi ll shut off the stove. Go to Alert Settings Choose Select to toggle the audio alert between on and off. The factory default is Off. Your iGuardStove is adjustable between 3 and 30 seconds.
Gas Sensors - (Gas iGuardStoves Only) There is an Upper and Lower gas sensor. The lower is designed for pipe leaks. The Upper is designed for open un lit burners. They are both designed to pick up DANGEROUS levels of unburned gas. The Upper MAY NOT pick up unburned gas before the 5 minute Auto Shut Off Timer times out if you have left the kitchen because it might not have reached dangerous levels. It may smell bad but it's not dangerous.
Gas Sensor Management Under the Gas Settings you will find the Zeroing feature as well as the ability to disable either of the Upper or Lower sensors. Sometimes the sensors just might not work for your application. These features will allow you to reset or establish a new clean air level or to simply disable the sensors.
Set Phase Switch MENU The iGuardStove controls the stove by turning the power on and off. There are 2 rower phases that are controlled by the relays. One o the relays will also power the stoves clock. If the iGuardStove turns off the stove and the clock goes out then you need to choose the opposite phase found in this setting.
About iGuardStove The information on this screen w ill tell you about the MAC address of the contro l panel ass well as the version of the firmware that is insta lled. Use Select to enter this area and after making your selection use the Back button to retu rn to the Main Screen.
Bypass iGuardStove Using the Bypass iGuardStove will turn the iGuardStove system off and there w ill be NO protection . There may be an instance where t his may be necessary and if used do not forget to en~ble the iGuardStove afterwards. There is also a checkbox in the Auto Shut Off Timer Settings that wi ll not allow someone to use the Bypass iGuardStove feature from t h e control panel. Use Select to enter this area and after making your selection use the Back button to return to the Main Screen .
Factory Reset Using the Factory Reset will restore all original settings. Once you have connected the iGuardStove to the Wi-Fi then many settings that were accessible buy the control panel will no lo~ger be avai l?ble. These setti~gs will only be accessible using your onhne accoun~. l_}sing the. Factory Reset will also wipe out your W1-F1 connection. Be careful when choosing this option.

Sometimes giving them too much information about all the exciting features it may complicate the simple install request and they may shy away from the job. When calling gas plumbers to set up the installation of the gas valve simply tell them "We need a gas plumber to install a gas solenoid valve in-line with the flexible gas hose that goes to my stove.
