Using the iDM1
Maintenance
Place the unit away from sources of direct sunlight or
excessive heat.
Protect your furniture when placing your unit on a natural
wood and lacquered finish.
Clean your unit with a soft cloth moistened only with mild
soap and water. Stronger cleaning agents, such as Benzine,
thinner or similar materials can mar the surface.

• Replace all batteries at the same time
• Do not open batteries
• Do not dispose of in fire
• Do not heat above 75ºC (167ºF)

Thank you for purchasing the iDM1. Designed to work with your
iPad, iPhone, iPod (with or without cases), or other audio device,
this system provides high quality audio for enhanced sound.
Please read the instructions carefully before operating the unit
and keep for future reference.
Installing/Replacing Batteries
1. Push in and slide up to open the battery compartment door
located on the front of the unit.
2. Insert 4 “AA” (LR6) batteries (not included), checking that the
+ and – ends of the batteries match the drawing inside the
battery compartment. We recommend the use of alkaline
batteries for longer life.
3. Replace and close the battery compartment cover.
For Best Performance
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
batteries.
Make sure you dispose of batteries properly (see your local
r
egulations).
Listening to an iPad/iPhone/iPod/MP3 player or other audio
device
1. Plug the attached audio patchcord located on the bottom of
the unit into the headphone or Line-out Jack on your iPad,
iPhone, iPod or other audio device.
2. Turn on your iPad, iPhone,iPod/MP3 player or other audio
device, activate music play and set desired volume.
3. Press the Power Button located on the right side of the unit.
The icon on the button will light up, indicating the unit is on.
Adjust volume on music player as needed.
4. Remember to turn unit and audio device OFF when not in use
to save batteries.
NOTE: Connected iPhones can create audio interference
noise when a call is received or when periodically
communicating with cell phone towers. Turn on Airplane
mode to disable phone while playing music.
