Cleaning products in stainless steel
Wipe the product clean with a damp cloth or
sponge and washing-up detergent. You should also
wipe up washing-up detergent or cleaner to avoid
stains. Do not leave chlorous liquids on the product
for several hours, as chlorine can damage the
product and make the stainless steel surface matt.
Stains which can’t be removed by normal wiping
can be rubbed o with a soft brush or a nylon
sponge and liquid cleaner. Do not use cleaners
containing abrasives. Rinse with water and wipe
with a dry cloth. Always wipe and rub the product
lengthwise when cleaning.
Good to know
Do not use scouring-powder, steel wool, hard or
sharp tools which can scratch the stainless steel
surface. The damp surface can be discoloured
if substances containing iron, from steel wool,
nails or gravel, are allowed to remain on it.
Discolouration is caused by the foreign material.
Matt parts of the product will be shiny again if you
sprinkle them with chalk, rub with a soft cloth, rinse
with water and wipe.
