Introduction POWER Press to turn the bar speaker off or on. VOLUME Press to adjust the volume. SOURCE Press to switch between iPod/ iPhone, FM radio, AV1, AV2, Line, and AUX modes. PLAY/PAUSE Press to play or pause a docked iPhone or iPod. iPod DRAWER Press to open and close the iPod docking drawer. LINE INPUT (3.5mm) Use to connect an MP3 player or other audio source to the bar speaker. 6 RESET Press using a paperclip or like object to reset the bar speaker to it’s original settings.
STANDBY/ON Press to turn the bar speaker off or on. MUTE Press to mute the volume of the bar speaker. ALARM With the power off, press to set and activate the alarm. CLOCK With the power off, press to set the clock. SLEEP Press repeatedly to set the sleep timer. BASS In EQ mode MUSIC 2.1 or MUSIC 3.1, press to adjust the levels of bass. REV/FWD for iPod/MIN Press to rewind or fast forward content from a docked iPhone or iPod. Press to adjust the minute when setting the clock or alarm.
Setup Power Plug the attached AC cord into a standard AC power outlet to power the bar speaker.
Clock, Alarm, and Sleep Timer Setting the Sleep Timer Setting the Clock 1 With the bar speaker powered on, press the SLEEP button repeatedly to set the sleep timer. 2 After the set amount of time expires, the bar speaker will automatically power off. 1 Press the POWER button to turn the bar speaker off. 2 Press the CLOCK button on the remote. The clock will begin to blink. 3 Press the REV/FWD for iPod MIN/HR buttons on the remote to adjust the hour and minute.
iPhone/iPod and Radio Docking an iPhone/iPod Tuning the FM Radio 1 Press the POWER button to turn the bar speaker on. 2 Press the SOURCE button to switch to iPhone/iPod mode. (iPod button on the remote) 3 Press the iPod DRAWER button to open the MOTORIZED DOCK FOR iPhone/iPod. 4 Locate the numbered bracket that fits the iPhone/iPod model that will be docked. Each included bracket has a number on it, indicating which iPhone/iPod model that bracket is compatible with.
AV1, AV2, Auxiliary Input, Line INput, and EQ Line Input AV1 and AV2 Requires an 3.5mm audio cable (not included) 1 Connect 3.5mm audio cable to the LINE INPUT. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm cable to an MP3 player or other audio source. 2 Press the POWER button to turn the bar speaker on. 3 Press the SOURCE button to switch to LINE mode. 4 Use the native controls on the connected device to begin playing audio routed through the bar speaker.
Basic Connectivity Below, you’ll see a basic flow chart of how you can connect your home entertainment devices to the bar speaker, and in turn how the bar speaker connects to them.
Connecting the Bar Speaker to a Television Composite Video Output TELEVISION VIDEO INPUT AUDIO OUTPUTS Requires an RCA audio/video cable (not included. 1 Plug an RCA audio/video cable into the COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT (yellow) on the bar speaker and the composite video input (yellow) on a television. 2 Plug the remaining plugs on the included RCA audio/video cable into the RCA AUXILIARY AUDIO INPUTS (red and white) on the bar speaker and the RCA stereo audio outputs (red and white) on a television.
Mounting the Bar Speaker to a Wall Important Notes We recommend having this bar speaker professionally mounted. The included spacers should be used at your discretion to extend the face of the bar speaker farther from the wall. These are typically used when mounting the bar speaker under a television, and the face of the bar speaker needs to be flush with the face of the television.

The bar speaker must be hung within 6 feet of an AC power outlet for the attached AC power cable to reach. 2 Use the Stud Finder to locate 2 parallel wooden studs to screw the mounting brackets into. 3 Mark the wall at the center of the studs using the pencil.
