When disconnected, it automatically turns off. If there is no audio input signal until 1 minute after connected to your iPod, this unit automatically enters the standby mode. In the standby mode, it stops transmitting.

Connect the FM transmitter to your iPod. 2. Press the “MENU” button to see the FM frequency on your iPod screen. 3. Check whether the “M” indication is currently on. Select the preset number using the left-arrow “W” or right-arrow “X” buttons. Note: The FM transmitter screen will change to the normal iPod screen if there is no action for 5 seconds with the FM transmitter. If the screen changes to the normal iPod screen, you can always change to the FM transmitter screen by pressing the “MENU” button. 3.

Tune your nearby radio to the FM frequency that you want to listen to. 6. If properly set, you will hear the song from your iPod on the radio. 7. Adjust the volume to an appropriate level for listening. Note: Do not listen to music with high volume while driving.

In this case, charge your iPod first and try it again. Charging and Synchronizing Your iPod You can charge or synchronize your iPod without disconnecting the FM transmitter. To do so, connect the mini USB plug of the supplied USB cable to the mini USB port located at the bottom of the FM transmitter.
