Toekick Installation

ILVE Toekick Installation
If you’d like your ILVE range to have a more built-in look when installed between cabinetry, a
toekick will conceal the legs. Follow these procedures to install the toekick:
1. Measure the space between the top of the oven legs and the floor to ensure there is
enough clearance to install the toekick.
NOTE: There needs to be a half-inch clearance between the range’s bottom and the top
of the toekick for easy insertion and removal.
2. Insert the toekick between the range bottom and the floor. Be sure to hover the toekick
above the floor as you insert the piece to prevent scraping damage.
3. Use a level edge such as a ruler and make sure the toekick is flush with the range to
your satisfaction.
NOTE: Default installation of ILVE ranges leaves a gap between the range and the
toekick. This allows for easy manual removal of the toekick without the use of tools.
Additionally, the toekick is not affixed to the range. If the range's height is adjusted,
the toekick remains on the floor. As a result, any increase in range height will
increase the gap between the range and the toekick. This will partially expose the
range’s legs..
