Listening to your iPod/iPhone through the
Dock Connector
1. Carefully place your device into the dock connector.
2. Press the Power button on the top of the unit or on
the remote to power on the Tango BLC.
3. Press the Source button on the top of the unit or on
the remote until the iPod Source indicator
lights.
4. Press the Play/Pause4; button on the unit or on
the remote. Use the controls on the unit or on the
remote to adjust the volume and iPod functions.
Note: The unit will charge your device while docked.
Listening to your Device Wirelessly Over
Bluetooth
To listen to your music over the Bluetooth wireless
connection, you need to pair your device with Tango
BLC.
1. Make sure your device has Bluetooth capability.
2. Press the Power button on the top of the unit or the
remote to power on the Tango BLC.
3. Press the Source button on the top of the unit or on
the remote until the Bluetooth Source indicator
lights.
4. Press and hold the Source button for four seconds
until the Bluetooth Source indicator
blinks
rapidly.
5. Follow the instructions listed in the manual of
your device to turn on the Bluetooth functionality
and pair your device with the unit. For most Apple
devices, go to the Settings app, click Bluetooth
and then turn Bluetooth on (Tango BLC will appear
under the devices).
6. Pair your device with the unit by selecting Tango
BLC from your Bluetooth listings on your device
or selecting yes. If prompted, enter 0000 as the
passcode.
7. Press Play on your device or on the Tango BLC’S
main unit/remote and use the control dial on the
unit or the remote to adjust the volume.
8. Use your device or on the Tango BLC’S main unit/
remote (for iPod/iPhone only) to control music
functions.
Notes:
• Once you have successfully paired your device with
Tango BLC, you will not need to repeat the above
steps. For each use, ensure that the unit source is
set to Bluetooth and that Bluetooth is enabled on
your device.
• While there is an incoming call for the iPhone, the
music will pause. After finishing the call, the music
will resume playing.
