5.2.3. Mounting the Syringe
Remove the syringe from its packaging. Mount the syringe into the
injector bayonet fitting as shown and twist a quarter of a turn to lock it
into place.
If the injector is on, the syringe will automatically be detected. See
Section 5.2.4.
5.2.4. Select Syringe
New, unfilled syringe Syringe filled on offline loader (Section 5.4)
The injector will detect this and automatically purge
the syringe of air.
The injector will detect this and be ready to proceed
with the injection.
To manually select a syringe:
Press on the touchscreen to tell the injector that a new contrast-filled
syringe has been installed.
[Dual Only] Press to tell the injector a saline-filled syringe has
been installed.
