Salient Operation Manual
6.3. Recommended Regular Check Procedure
6.3.1. Monthly
Once a month, the entire injector should be thoroughly inspected and cleaned and an operational checkout
procedure should be performed. Refer to Section 6.3.3 for the checkout procedure.
6.3.2. Annual Check
These annual programs ensure patient safety by maintaining accuracy and reliability, and can also extend the life
of the injector. Refer to Section 2.8 of this manual for address, fax and telephone information.
Every twelve months, or more often, as required by local authorities, an electrical leakage and ground continuity
check should be performed.
Note: Failures which occur due to lack of proper maintenance will not be covered under warranty.
WARNING
A complete injector calibration and performance checkout should be carried out once a year by an
authorised Imaxeon Service Representative. Failure to do so may result in patient or operator injury.
Contact IMAXEON Service or your local Imaxeon dealer for complete details.
