1. Turn off the power, remove the battery, and wait

at least 10 minutes for the ashtube to cool.

2. Remove the glass cover by gently pulling it off of

the ash head.

3. Using white cotton gloves or a clean cloth,

remove the retention wire wrapped around the

top of the ashtube.

4. With needle-nose pliers, unhook the retention

spring loop.

5. Once the spring is unhooked, grip the base of the

ashtube on each side, and carefully pull it from

the retaining sockets.

6. Apply rm, even pressure at the base of the

ashtube to gently push the pins of the new

ashtube into the sockets.

7. With needle-nose pliers, hook the retention spring over and above the

ashtube.

Note: This step can be done by hand. Make sure not to touch the ashtube

with your bare ngers.

8. Replace the glass cover.
