Thank you for choosing Impact. The Impact SRP Wall Plates mount to any flat surface, including set walls and apple boxes. You can use a wall plate as a low stand by fixing it to the floor and mounting a fixture directly onto the 5/8” stud or receiver. Since wall plates take up less room than tripod legs, you can fit them into tighter spots where stands or clamps are inconvenient to use.
