• The air conditioner must be operated within the temperature range of 62°F to 95°F (16°C to 35°C). • A perimeter of 12′′ (30cm) around the air conditioner should be free of all objects. • Keep air inlet and air outlet clean and free of obstructing objects. • During operation, close doors and windows to improve cooling effect. • Please put the air conditioner at smooth and flat ground for operation to avoid noise and vibration. • Do not tilt or turn over the air conditioner.
ENGLISH USING YOUR AIR CONDITIONER OVERVIEW OF CONTROLS FUNCTIONS Before you begin, thoroughly familiarize yourself with the control panels as shown below and all its functions, then follow the symbol for the functions you desire. Press or hold either Down or Up button until the desired temperature is seen on the display. This temperature will be automatically maintained anywhere between 62° F (17° C) and 86° F (30° C). FAN SPEED ADJUSTMENT Select the Fan Speed in four steps: Auto, Low, Med or High. Each time the button is pressed, the fan speed mode is shifted. During Dry mode, the fan speed is kept at Low automatically. Heat If you want the display to read the actual room temperature, refer to "FAN ONLY MODE" below.
ENGLISH PMTS — FOLLOW ME PMTS Personal Mapping Temperature Sensor: Your model may be equipped with a special feature that allows the remote control to act as a thermostat. If your unit shows this PMTS LED on the control panel, and you have the accompanying LCD remote control then your unit is equipped. You must activate this feature through the remote control by pressing the PMTS button.
The timer buttons enable two separate functions: one to automatically start the unit within a 24 hour period of time and another to automatically turn off the unit within a 24 hour period of time. These functions are called, respectively, AUTO ON and AUTO OFF. AUTO ON INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Press the TIMER button twice, or until the TIMER ON LED on the air conditioner's control panel should illuminate. The air conditioner's display shows the last Auto-On setting (if any).
ENGLISH ADDITIONAL FEATURES AND INFORMATION AIR DIRECTION(4-WAY) The 4-way air directional louvers allow you to direct the air flow Up or Down and Left or Right throughout the room as needed. To adjust the air directional louvers side-to-side, use the center handles as you move it side-to-side. 3-MINUTE DELAYED START This air conditioner has a protection circuit to prevent the compressor from overheating.

Your air conditioner is designed to be installed in standard double hung windows with minimum width and height requirements as follows: W: Opening width of 26 ⅞ OFFSET EXTERIOR WALL INNER WINDOW SILL W H inches. H: Opening height of 16½"inches. INTERIOR WALL Wooden Windows STORM WINDOW MODIFICATIONS Storm Window or other obstruction ½” min Board thickness should be as required for proper pitch and run along the entire window sill. Fasten with nails or screws.
ENGLISH WINDOW INSTALLATION Use caution when unpacking and installing. Sharp edges can cause injury. Appearance of unit in these diagrams is for illustrative purposes only and may not precisely reflect your unit’s design. BEFORE YOU BEGIN 1. Check for anything that could block airflow: Any shrubs, trees, awnings on the outside; blinds, drapes, furniture, etc. on the inside.

Remove the shipping screws from the top of the cabinet and any that may be installed on the side of the base (Fig. F). 7. ENGLISH STEP 2: INSTALL UPPER RAIL A 1. Affix foam gasket to bottom of upper rail bracket (if not already affixed). 2. Install upper rail using a total of 3 #10, ¼" screws.(See FIg. I) B O STEP 3: ASSEMBLE WINDOW FILLER PANELS 1. Place the cabinet on a steady surface such as a floor, bench or table. 2. 4. Drill a 3/16" starter hole ⅜" deep through the three holes in the cabinet and into the window sill (Fig N, A) and drill one starter hole ⅜" deep through the hole in the middle of the top rail and into the window frame (Fig. N, B). 1. Lift air conditioner chassis and carefully slide into cabinet leaving 6 inches protruding. 2. DO NOT push on controls or finned coils. 3. Be sure chassis is firmly seated towards rear of cabinet. 4. Re-installation process of front panel, filter and grille is the reverse of what you did in Step 1, above. You need to use the four screws for the front panel but do not refasten the shipping screws, as explained previously.

With "Y" = inside model height plus twice the thickness of framing material used. 4. Build a wooden frame with the inside dimensions of your model as listed above. (Remember to measure twice, cut once!) Frame depth should be the same as the thickness of the wall.
1. Slide chassis from cabinet. 2. For detailed instructions, see Step 1, in the Window Mounting section, above. 3. Place cabinet into opening with bottom rail resting firmly on bottom board of wooden frame. 4. Position cabinet to achieve proper slope for water removal. (See Fig. AE below.) 5. Secure bottom rail to wood frame with two wood screws of 1” (2.5cm) length using the two holes in the bottom of the channel resting on frame as shown (Fig. AD) 6.
ENGLISH MASONRY CONSTRUCTION 1. Cut or build a wall opening in the masonry wall in a similar way to the frame construction method explained above. For walls with a thickness greater than 6 ½”, refer to Step 2 of Through-The-Wall Installation, above. 2. Secure cabinet in place using masonry nails, or the appropriate masonry anchor screws.
Should you place your unit in long-term storage, perform all of the post-season checks listed above and perform the following additional steps: • Wrap the electrical cord loosely around the unit. • Cover the unit with a sheet or cloth to prevent dust buildup inside during storage. • WARNING: Never store the unit up-side down or on its side. This can permanently damage the compressor. DISPOSAL INFORMATION • Most unit packaging materials are recyclable.
ENGLISH TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM / POSSIBLE CAUSES THE AIR CONDITIONER DOES NOT FUNCTION AT ALL • Is the power cable properly inserted into a functioning, grounded outlet? • Is there a power failure such as a blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker? • Is the ambient temperature lower than 61°F (16°C)? A safety device prevents the unit from cooling the room to even lower temperatures.
The fuse blows or circuit breaker trips frequently. The power cable is abnormally hot. The insulation of the power cable is ripped, shred or torn. The unit controls do not work. The unit produces abnormal noises.
