Installation work, maintenance and
repairs may only be carried out by
suitably qualified and competent
persons to ensure safety.
Repairs and other work by
unqualified persons could be
dangerous and the manufacturer will
not be held liable.
Some minor problems can be corrected
without contacting the Service
Department.
What to do if .
. . . the oven does not heat up
Check whether,
^ the safety lock has been activated
(key symbol "0-ยง" is lit up in the oven
display)
^ the mains fuse has blown. Contact a
qualified electrician or the Service
Department.
^
dEM appears briefly in the display
when the function selector is turned
to the "0" position.
The oven is set to the showroom demo
programme. In this setting you can
select a programme as normal but the
oven will not heat up.
To deactivate the showroom demo
programme:

Press the temperature and clock /
timer selector buttons at the same
time until dEM appears in the oven
display.
โ€“
Then press the โ€“ button under the
oven display and three horizontal
bars will appear.
The showroom demo programme has
now been deactivated. The oven can
be used again as normal.
. . the heating works, but not the
oven lighting
The halogen lamp needs replacing.
To change the lamp:
^
Disconnect the appliance from the
electricity supply.
Switch off and unplug at the socket,
or remove the fuse, or switch off at
the isolator as appropriate.
^ Remove the runners and side liners
(if fitted).
^ Cover the floor of the oven with a
towel to protect the enamelling just in
case the lamp cover is dropped.
^
Use the lever to release the lamp
cover from its frame.
