Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal verwenden, lesen Sie D bitte diese Anweisungen sorgfältig durch, und bewahren Sie diese für zukünftige Gelegenheiten zum Nachschlagen auf. Nur wenn Sie die Anweisungen befolgen, können Sie optimal die volle Funktionsvielfalt des Gerätes genießen. Diese Bedienungsanleitung hilft Ihnen beim • bestimmungsgemäßen • sicheren • vorteilhaften Gebrauch des Gerätes .
2. SICHERHEITSHINWEISE Lesen Sie die Sicherheitshinweise sorgfältig durch, bevor Sie das D Gerät in Betrieb nehmen. Beachten Sie alle Warnungen und Hinweise auf dem Gerät und in der Bedienungsanleitung. 2.1 Grundlegende Sicherheitshinweise • • • • • • • • • • • Trennen Sie bei Betriebsstörungen das Gerät von der Stromquelle. Um Feuergefahr und die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlags zu vermeiden, setzen Sie das Gerät weder Regen noch sonstiger Feuchtigkeit aus. Öffnen Sie niemals das Gehäuse.

Das Gerät nimmt im Standby-Betrieb Strom auf. Um das Gerät vollständig vom Netz zu trennen, muss das Netzteil aus der Steckdose gezogen werden.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE • D Verlegen Sie die Anschlusskabel so, dass niemand darauf treten oder darüber stolpern kann. 2.2 Richtiger Umgang mit Batterien Der richtige Umgang mit Batterien • Batterien können Giftstoffe enthalten. Achten Sie darauf, dass Batterien nicht in die Hände von Kindern gelangen. Kinder könnten Batterien in den Mund nehmen und verschlucken. Sollte eine Batterie verschluckt werden, nehmen Sie bitte sofort ärztliche Hilfe in Anspruch.

5. ABBILDUNGEN 11. MENU Taste Drücken Sie diesen Knopf um das Menü im jeweiligen Modus D aufzurufen. 12. INFO Taste Im DAB+/UKW können Sie mit diesem Knopf die verschiedenen Info Daten wechseln. 13. PRESET Taste Drücken Sie diesen Knopf nur kurz um die Sender Speicher Liste aufzurufen. Drücken und halten Sie diesen Knopf um den momentanen Sender zu speichern. 14. ALARM/SNOOZE Taste Drücken Sie diesen Knopf während des DAB/UKW/AUX Betrieb um den Alarm einzustellen.
6. INSTALLATION 6.1 AKKU EINSETZEN D 1.) Nehmen Sie ein Geldstück und drehen Sie damit die Verschlussschraube um 90° um das Batteriefach zu öffnen. 2.) Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung mit den Fingern. 3.) Bitte achten Sie beim Einlegen des 3,7V Lithium-Ionen Akkus auf die Beschriftung der Batteriepole + und -. 4.) Setzen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung wieder ein und verschließen Sie das Batteriefach mit der Verschlussschraube. 6.
7. BeDIENUNG 7.1 INBETRIEBNAHME D 1. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, in dem Sie den Netzschalter an der linken Seite auf die Position ON drehen. Im Display wird der Begrüßungstext „IMPERIAL Digitalradio“ angezeigt. Anschließend zeigt die Uhrzeitanzeige 00:00 im Display an. 2. Bewegen Sie anschließend den Funktionsschalter auf der linken Seite um den gewünschten Betriebsmodus, DAB+, UKW, AUX-IN oder Bluetooth auszuwählen. Standby Modus: 1.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.2 ANMERKUNGEN 1. Das Datum und die Uhrzeit können automatisch aktualisiert werden. Durch das Auto-Update wird das Datum und die Uhrzeit vom ausgestrahlten DAB+ oder UKW Signal über nommen. (falls verfügbar) 2. ECO Modus: Das Gerät schaltet automatisch in den Stand by Modus wenn für mindestens 15 Minuten in einem Betriebsmodus keine Funktion ausgeführt wird. (ausgenommen UKW Modus) 3.
7. BEDIENUNG D 3. Sobald der Suchlauf beendet ist, wird die Uhrzeit des Sendersignals (falls verfügbar) angezeigt und der erste Sender der Senderliste wird abgespielt. 4. Drücken Sie die “<” oder “>” Taste um durch die Senderliste zu blättern. Um einen Sender auszuwählen drücken Sie bitte die ENTER Taste. Im Display wird nun der neue Sender mit den Details angezeigt. 5. Falls keine Sender während dem Suchlauf gefunden werden, wird im Display “Kein DAB Sender” angezeigt.
7. BEDIENUNG Falls beim ersten Sendersuchlauf der Empfang nicht ausreichend war (z.B. war die Antenne nicht komplett ausgezogen), konnten nicht D alle Sender gefunden werden und die Senderliste ist unvollständig oder fehlerhaft. 7.3.2 KOMPLETTSUCHE DURCHFÜHREN 1. Um manuell eine Komplettsuche durchzuführen, drücken Sie bitte einmal kurz die MENU Taste und bestätigen Sie mit der ENTER Taste. 7.3.
7. BEDIENUNG Stellung der Antenne können Sie nun verfolgen. D 7.3.4 ENTFERNEN VON NICHT VERFÜGBAREN SENDERN 1. Drücken Sie die Menu Taste und anschließend “>” oder “<” bis zum Menüpunkt: Entfernen und bestätigen Sie mit der ENTER Taste. 2. Wählen Sie mit “>” “JA” aus und bestätigen mit der ENTER Taste um die inaktiven Sender zu entfernen. Anmerkung: Dieser Punkt entfernt alle inaktiven Sender in der Senderliste. 7.3.
7. BEDIENUNG D 2. Drücken Sie “<” oder “>” um den gewünschten Speicherplatz auszuwählen und bestätigen Sie zum Speichern mit der ENTER Taste. 7.3.6 SENDER AUFRUFEN 1. Drücken Sie einmal kurz die PRESET Taste während dem DAB+ Betrieb um den Senderspeicher aufzurufen. 2. Drücken Sie “>” oder “<” um den gewünschten Sender auszuwählen. 3. Drücken Sie die ENTER um den gewünschten Sender aufzurufen.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.3.7 SENDERINFORMATION D Während des DAB+ Radiobetriebs werden im Display der Sendername und das DLS (Dynamic Label Segment) des Senders angezeigt. Diese Informationen werden vom jeweiligen Sender ausgestrahlt und enthalten zum Beispiel die folgenden Daten: Programmname, Musik Titel, Kontaktinformationen usw. Informationen mit mehr als 16 Zeichen werden mit einem Scrolltext wieder gegeben. Jedes Mal wenn Sie die Info Taste drücken wird die nächste verfügbare Information angezeigt.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.3.8 DYNAMIC RANGE COMPRESSION (DRC) Diese Funktion reduziert die Lautstärkeunterschiede im Programm eines Senders. Hierdurch werden sehr laute Teile Sendung leiser und sehr leise Teile der Sendung lauter abgespielt. Anmerkung: DRC funktioniert nur falls diese Funktion vom Sendenetzbetreiber für das spezielle Programm unterstützt wird. 1. 2. Wählen Sie im Menü > DRC, und drücken die ENTER Taste. Wählen Sie mit “>” oder “<” eine der verfügbaren Optionen aus: DRC aus, hoch, tief.

BEDIENUNG 7.4 BEDIENUNG IM UKW MODUS D Im UKW Radio Modus werde alle analogen Radiosender im Frequenzbereich (87.5-108MHz) empfangen und die Radio Text Informationen (Radio Data System) angezeigt. 1. Bitte ziehen Sie die Teleskop Antenne vollständig aus. 2. Bewegen Sie den Funktionsschalter auf FM um den UKW Modus auszuwählen. 3. Drücken und halten Sie die “<” oder “>” Taste um den nächsten Sender zu suchen. Der Suchlauf stoppt beim nächsten gefundenen Sender automatisch. 4.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.4.2 SENDERINFORMATION Während des UKW Radiobetriebs werden im Display der Sendername und der Radiotext (falls verfügbar) angezeigt. Falls keine Informationen verfügbar sind wird nur die Frequenz, sowie die Info: No Radio Text, eingeblendet. Zusätzliche Informationen Bei jedem Drücken der INFO Taste wird der nächste Informationspunkt angezeigt. Folgende Punkte sind verfügbar: RDS RadioText, Programm Typ, Frequenz, Mono/Stereo, Zeit und Datum. 7.
7. BEDIENUNG 4. Die Lautstärke können Sie nun direkt an Ihrem Radio einstellen. Alle anderen Fuktionen wie z.B. Play/Pause, Titel D Vor- und Zurück müssen Sie direkt an Ihrer Audioquelle ausführen. Anmerkungen: Wenn Sie über den Line Out Ausgang Ihrer Audioquelle verbunden sind, reicht es aus, die Lautstärke nur am DABMAN einzustellen. Falls Sie über den Kopfhörerausgang Ihrer Audioquelle angeschlossen sind, ist es ggf.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.6.1 VERBINDUNG HERSTELLEN Bevor Sie Ihren Dabman BT40 als Bluetooth-Lautsprecher benutzen können, ist es erforderlich die Verbindung zu Ihrer Audioquelle, z.B. Smartphone, Tablet, PC oder Mac herzustellen. 1. Stellen Sie bitte sicher, dass die BT Funktion in Ihrem Endgerät aktiviert ist. Bitte beachten Sie hierzu die Bedienungsanleitung Ihres Endgerätes. 2. Bewegen Sie den Funktionsschalter des DABMAN BT40 auf die Position (Bluetooth) um den Bluetooth Modus zu starten.
7. BEDIENUNG Anmerkung: D Die Bluetooth Verbindung zum DABMAN BT 40 kann nur mit einem Gerät zur gleichen Zeit stattfinden. Sobald die Verbindung zu einem Endgerät hergestellt ist, kann sich kein weiteres Gerät verbinden. Der DABMAN BT40 wird dann auch nicht in Ihrer Liste verfügbarer BT Geräte angezeigt. 7.6.2 MUSIKWIEDERGABE ÜBER BLUETOOTH 1. Nun können Sie die Musik Ihres Endgerätes über den Audioplayer abspielen und auf dem DABMAN BT40 wieder geben. 2.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.6.2 BLUETOOTH FREISPRECHEINRICHTUNG 1. Verbinden Sie Ihr Smartphone via Bluetooth wie bereits beschrieben. 2. Drücken Sie kurz bei einem eingehenden Telefonat die / ENTER Taste an Ihrem DABMAN BT40 um das Gespräch anzunehmen. Sie können das Telefonat nun über Ihren Radiolautsprecher hören und über das eingebaute Mikrofon mit dem Anrufer sprechen. 3. Die Lautstärke des Anrufs können Sie am besten über Ihr Mobiltelefon regeln. 4.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.7 ALLGEMEINE FUNKTIONEN UND EINSTELLUNGEN D 7.7.1 SLEEP TIMER Es ist möglich in jedem Modus einen Sleep Timer zu setzen. 1. Drücken Sie hierfür bitte die MENU Taste, wählen mit “>” oder “<” Menüpunkt “Sleep Einstellung” und bestätigen mit der/ENTER Taste. 2. Nun haben Sie die Möglichkeit mit der “>” oder “<” Taste einen Zeitraum auszuwählen, nachdem sich das Gerät automatisch ausschaltet und in den Standby Modus wechselt.
7. BEDIENUNG 7.7.2 ALARM/WECKER FUNKTION Ähnlich wie bei einem Radiowecker haben Sie auch mit Ihrem DABMAN BT40 die Möglichkeit, 2 unterschiedliche Weckzeiten einzustellen. Jeder Alarm kann Sie entweder mit einem Summerton oder mit einem anderen Audiomodus wecken. Ein aktiver Alarm wird ” angezeigt. Ihnen im Display mit dem Symbol “ Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Alarmeinstellungen nur in den Modi DAB+, UKW oder AUX-IN aufgerufen werden können. Weckzeit einstellen: 1.
7. BEDIENUNG Alarm Optionen: Zeitauswahl – Stunden und Minuten D Alarm modus – Einmal |täglich |Wochenende | Werktage, an diesen Tagen ist der Alarm aktiv und wird Sie zur gewünschten Uhrzeit wecken. Alarm Typ (Quelle) – DAB+ | UKW | Summer Ton1 | Summer Ton2. Bitte beachten Sie: Die Auswahlmöglichkeit DAB+ oder UKW können Sie nur auswählen, wenn Sie sich in diesem Betriebsmodus befinden. Die Auswahl geschieht wie bereits beschrieben über den Funktionsschalter. Weckzeit 2 einstellen 1.

8. SYSTEMEINSTELLUNGEN Wenn Sie die Werkseinstellungen aufrufen möchten, müssen Sie diese Auswahl mit der ENTER Taste bestätigen. SW Version anzeigen Drücken Sie die MENU Taste und blättern Sie mit der “>” oder “<” Taste durch das Menü bis die aktuelle SW version angezeigt wird.

9. FEHLERBEHEBUNG D Problem Grund Lösungen Bluetooth Verbindung kann nicht hergestellt werden. Verbindung kann nicht hergestellt werden. Audioquelle ist nicht eingeschaltet. Bluetooth version wird nicht unterstützt. Prüfen Sie ob das Gerät das A2DP Protokoll unterstützt. Schalten Sie die Audioquelle ein. Schalten Sie Bluetooth an der Audioquelle ein. Verwenden Sie bitte ein anderes Gerät als Audioquelle.
10. ENTSORGUNGSHINWEIS Die Verpackung Ihres Gerätes besteht ausschließlich aus wiederverwertbaren Materialien. Bitte führen Sie diese entsprechend sortiert wieder dem “Dualen System” zu. Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen Geräten abgegeben werden.
