> config system power source PoE+
You can also set the power source with WebUI:
After manually setting the power source to PoE+, you must reboot the reader so that the change can take
eect. Please refer to the Impinj RShell Reference Manual for more details on doing this with RShell.
The following screenshot shows how to reboot with WebUI.
The selected power source will persist across reboots, but will need to be congured again after a full system
reset.
The boot sequence begins in either case when power is supplied to the reader. This sequence typically
completes within 30 seconds. After the boot sequence nishes, the reader accepts commands, not before.
The Power and Status LEDs on the reader alert you to the status. For more information, see Impinj R700
Reader Ports and LEDs.
Note that the network address of the reader will depend upon your network conguration and preferences:
If your network supports DHCP, you can connect the reader directly to your Ethernet network. The
DHCP server will assign an address to the reader.
If your network does not support DHCP, the reader defaults to the following xed IP address:
169.254.1.1. If this address is already in use, the reader will select a random xed IP address in the
169.254.xxx.xxx link local address range. You can also connect to the reader by connecting via the
micro-USB port and use the reader’s RShell command-line interface to congure a static IP address
for the reader. After that is completed, you can connect the reader to your Ethernet network.
