Control Software
Win-Situ 5 Software
Win-Situ 5 Software is the control and calibration software for the Level TROLL, Aqua
TROLL, and Rugged TROLL Instruments.
Win-Situ 5 Software provides instrument control for direct readings and profiling, long-
term data logging, data downloads, data viewing, data export to spreadsheet programs,
selecting units, displaying options, and tracking battery/memory usage. Win-Situ 5 Plus
enables configuration of networks and telemetry.
Requirements
l 400 MHz Pentium II processor
l 128 MB RAM
l 100 MB free disk space
l Internet Explorer 6.01 or higher
l Windows 2000 Professional SP4 or higher, or Windows XP Professional SP2 or
higher, or Windows Vista SP1 or higher
l CD-ROM drive, and a serial or USB communications port.
Win-Situ Mobile Software
Win-Situ Mobile Software provides the features and functions of Win-Situ 5 on a field-
portable platform.
Requirements
l In-Situ RuggedReader Handheld PC with Microsoft Windows Mobile operating
system
l Windows Mobile 5 or later
l Serial communications port
l At least 16 MB for data storage (SD card, CF card, or the device’s built-in non-
volatile memory).
For installation and file exchange, Windows 7 requires
Windows Mobile Device Center to be installed on the computer.
Earlier versions on Windows require Microsoft ActiveSync.
