WhatDoesThisWarrantyCover?SanbornMfg.,DivisionofMATIndustries,LLC.(theCompany)warrantsfromthedateofpurchasebytheoriginalretailpurchaseronly,parts
andlabortoremedysubstantialdefectsfoundinmaterials,orworkmanship.
HowLongDoesTheCoverageLast?ThedurationofthiswarrantyisTwoYears.Thiswarrantyisnottransferabletosubsequentowners.
WhatSanbornMfgWillDo:SanbornMfgwillcoverpartsandlabortoremedysubstantialdefectsduetomaterialsandworkmanshipforthedurationoftwentyfourmonths
fromthedateofpurchase,withtheexceptionsnotedbelow.Partsusedinrepairofwholegoodsoraccessoriesarewarrantedforthebalanceoftheoriginalwarrantyperiod.
WhatisNotCoveredUnderThisWarranty?Failurebytheoriginalretailpurchasertoinstall,maintain,andoperatesaidequipmentinaccordancewithstandardindustry
practices.Modificationstotheproductortamperingwithcomponents,orfailuretocomplywiththespecificrecommendationsoftheCompanysetforthintheowner’smanual,
willrenderthiswarrantynullandvoid.TheCompanyshallnotbeliableforanyrepairs,replacements,oradjustmentstotheequipment,oranycostsforlaborperformedbythe
purchaserwithouttheCompany’spriorwrittenapproval.Theeffectsofcorrosion,erosion,surroundingenvironmentalconditions,cosmeticdefects,androutinemaintenance
items,arespecificallyexcludedfromthiswarranty.Routinemaintenanceitemssuchas:oil,lubricants,andairfilters,aswellaschangingoil,airfilters,belttensioning,etc…fall
undertheowner’sresponsibility.Additionalexclusionsinclude:freightdamage,failuresresultingfromneglect,accident,orabuse,inductionmotorswhenoperatedfroma
generator,oilleaks,airleaks,oilconsumption,leakyfittings,hoses,petcocks,bleedertubes,andtransfertubes.
Ifthecompressorisusedforcommercial,industrial,rental,ormilitaryapplications,thewarrantywillapplyfor90daysfromthedateofpurchase.Twostagecompressorsare
notlimitedtoa90daywarrantywhenusedincommercialorindustrialapplications.
Thefollowingcomponentsareconsiderednormalwearitemsandarenotcoveredafterthefirstyearofownership:Belts,checkvalves,pressureswitches,airunloaders,throttle
controls,electric
motors,brushes,regulators,o‐rings,gauges,piping,fasteners,wheels,quickcouplers,gaskets,andpistonseals.
Labor,servicecalls,andtravelcharges,arenotcoveredafterthefirstyearofownershiponstationarycompressors(compressorswithouthandles,orwheels,30gallonsand
larger).Repairsrequiringovertime,weekendrates,oranyother
chargesbeyondthestandardshoplaborratearenotcovered.
Improperlywired,orfailuretohaveacertifiedlicensedelectricianinstallthecompressor,willrenderthiswarrantynullandvoid.
GasEngines,ifproductisequippedwithagasengine,seeenginemanualforspecificenginemanufacturer’swarrantycoverage.
Partspurchasedseparately:Thewarrantyforpartspurchasedseparatelysuchas:pumps,motors,etc.,areasfollows:

HowdoYouGetService?Inordertobeeligibleforserviceunderthiswarrantyyoumustbetheoriginalretailpurchaser,andprovideproofofpurchasefromoneofSanborn’s
dealers,distributors,orretailoutletstores.Portablecompressorsorcomponentsmustbedelivered,orshipped,tothenearestAuthorizedSanbornServiceCenter.All
associatedfreightcostsandtravelchargesmustbebornebytheconsumer.Pleasecallourtollfreenumber1‐888‐895‐4549forassistance.

corrosion,del’érosion,desconditionsenvironnementalesambiantes,desdéfautsdenaturesuperficielleetlesmatériauxrequispourlamaintenancederoutinesont
expressémentexclusdecettegarantie.Lesmatériauxrequispourlamaintenancederoutinetelsquel’huile,leslubrifiantsetlesfiltresàair,ainsiqueleschangementsd’huile,
defiltresàair,de
tensiondecourroie,etc.fontpartiedelaresponsabilitédel’utilisateur.Parmilesexclusionssupplémentaires,ilfautajouterlesdommagesliésautransport,
lesdéfaillancesliéesàlanégligence,auxaccidentsouàunemauvaiseutilisation,lesmoteursàinductionalimentésparunalternateur,lesfuitesd’huile,lesfuitesd’air,la

Lescomposantssuivantssontconsidéréscommedesarticlesquis’usentàlalongueetnesontpascouvertsau‐delàdelapremièreannéesuivantl’acquisition:courroies,
soupapesdenon‐retour,
pressostats,dispositifsdedélestaged’air,commandesdesgaz,moteursélectriques,balais,régulateurs,jointstoriques,manomètres,tuyauterie,
fixations,roues,raccordsrapides,garnituresetjointsdepiston.
Leschargesdemain‐d’œuvre,d’appelsdeserviceetdedéplacementsnesontpascouvertesau‐delàdelapremièreannéesuivantl’acquisitionpourles
compresseursfixes
(compresseurssanspoignéesetsansroues,decapacitésupérieureouégaleà30gallons‐114L).Lesréparationsnécessitantdesheuressupplémentaires,destauxettarifsde
findesemaineoutouteautrechargeexcédantletarifstandarddetravailenateliernesontpascouvertes.
