mechanical skills. A qualified mechanic is always recommended.*Do not attempt to install the intake system while the engine is hot. The installation may require removal
of radiator fluid line that may be hot. Injen Technology offers a limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship. Warranty
claims must be handled through the dealer from which the item was purchased.

When performing a dyno test on this vehicle. Please make sure adequate cooling is on the intercooler as tit will hinder the overall results of the test. As intake air tempurature rises, the ECU will
start compensating for the increased heat.
Note: This intake system was Dyno-tested with an Injen filter and Injen parts. The use of any other filter or part will void the warranty. Parts and acces-
sories are available on line at “Injenonline.com
Position the heatshield into place. For illustrative purposes,
the pipe has been removed.
Figure A: Use a M6 allen bolt and fender washers to
secure the lower section of the heatshield to the chassis.
Figure B: Use two M6 nuts to secure the top of the heat-
shield to the chassis.
Figure A: Place the supplied vibramount onto the threaded
insert next to the big opening on the heatshield.
Figure B: Place the 18” rubber trim onto the inside of the
big hole on the heat shield.
Place the pipe through the big hole on the heatshield and
then place the filter onto the end of the tube.The heat-
shield, pipe and filter will have to be pre-asssembled prior
to installing them in the engine bay.
Stock air box assembly shown in this picture. Disconnect
battery before the install. Remove the engine cover.
Figure A: Loosen the clamp on the sound tube and then
disconnect the tube from the valve. Figure B: Loosen the
clamp on the air box air duct and then disconnect the duct
from the turbo inlet.
Figure A: Remove the two plastic retaining rivets from the
air scoop and remove scoop from engine bay. Figure B:
Disconnect the MAF sensor harness from the MAF sensor
located on the top of the OE air box assembly.

Figure A: Carefully lift up and remove the entire stock air
box assembly
Figure B: Remove the OE MAF sensor from the stock air
box assembly.

Figure A: Unscrew the two screws from the MAF sensor.
Figure B: Unbolt the two 10mm nuts from the air box
bracket to the chassis.
Figure C: Unbolt the 10mm bolt from the lower air box
bracket
