INSTALLATION
Profile-DC Mattress Retainer
10. Install Profile-DC mattress retainer at the
foot end of the bed base as follows:
a. Locate (1) mattress retainer and
(1) mattress retainer hardware kit
(FIGURE 7).

b.Install (1) flat washer, (1) retaining
clip on (4) mattress retainer bolts
(FIGURE 8).
c. With the bed base oriented top-side-
up, lay under the foot end of the bed
and locate (4) threaded lug locator
pins (FIGURE 9).
d. Pull out wooden locator pins to
expose threaded lugs.
e. Align mattress retainer until it makes
contact with the end of the bed base
(FIGURE 10).
f. Holding the retainer in place, install
the (2) inside mattress retainer bolts
(loosely) into the threaded lug fittings
(FIGURE 10).
g. Install the (2) outside mattress
retainer bolts (FIGURE 10).
