FA100 Programming
1. Open transmitter by removing two screws from back.
2. Connect the cable from programming device to programming header on transmitter.
3. Press reset button on transmitter. The programming device will indicate successful
programming.
4. When programming is complete, disconnect cable.
Note: The FA100 is labeled (from top to bottom) "alert-away-home-off".
Note: Unauthorized individuals should not have access to programmed FA100 Command
Transmitters.
Programming to Control Panels
The FA100 is used to arm and disarm Inovonics Vision Plus and Wireless Guardian systems, as well as the
DMP XR20 and XR200 panels, and Radionics 2000 series control panels. Refer to the system manuals for
these products for specific programming sequences.
In programming mode, set TYPE to REMOTE.
MONITORED, AUDIBLE and RELAY OUT options determine how the control panel will handle "Alert"
signals. Select options as desired.
When prompted to "Plug in xmitter", perform the programming sequence described under "FA100
Programming".
Using the FA100 with the FA422 16 Point Expander
for Radionics 2000 Series Control Panels
1. Refer to FA422 Installation Manual for information on configuring and
programming the FA100 to the Radionics panel.
2. Carefully peel off the standard FA100 keypad overlay, and replace it with the
FA422 overlay included in the packing.
