That being said, Apple products tend to be a bit finicky, so
here are a few tips to help you get the most out of using a
newer-style iPod with your Insane Audio head unit:
• Always plug the adapter into your iPod first, and then into
the Insane Audio cable after. Your iPod doesn't play nicely
with your Insane Audio head unit, not the other way
around.
• Your lightning adapter is omni-directional (you can plug it
in forward OR reverse). But, if you plug it in one way one
time and then plug it in the other way another time, your
iPod won't play nicely again. Try to be consistent in how
you use your adapter.
