5G INDUSTRIAL GATEWAY S2000e USER GUIDE 13
Power Options
Your S2000e has four power options:
• 4-Pin AC Power Supply
• 4-Pin DC Power and I/O Supply
• 30W PoE Injector
• 60W PoE Injector
NOTE: If an additional power option is needed, please contact Inseego sales.
Connecting 4-Pin DC Power (for Cabinet/Enclosure Installations)
WARNING: Electrical installations can be hazardous and should be performed only by licensed
professionals.
Consider the following when installing your S2000e with DC power:
• Ensure easy access for connecting cables.
• Ensure minimum bend radius for cables.
• Avoid sharp edges or existing wiring.
• Avoid proximity to high amperages or extreme temperatures.
• Avoid direct exposure to harmful elements such as water, dust, and heat.
Installing and Grounding
To install and ground your device:
1. Use a DIN rail to secure the device in place.
2. Ground the device.
3. If you are installing in a high vibration setting, use cable strain relief to reduce the effects of
vibration. Install the strain relief to the same surface as the S2000e, within eight inches of the
device. This allows the device and cable to vibrate together. Ensure the cable is not pulling on the
power connection.
