GPS Tab
The S2000e incorporates a GPS receiver. The GPS receiver can determine your current location.
Current location information can be shared with connected devices by using the Local GPS Streaming
Interface on the Local tab.
The GPS page includes three sub tabs:
• GPS Status
• GPS Local
• GPS Remote
GPS Status Sub Tab
Use settings on this tab to enable or disable GPS and to view current location and the current status of
your GPS connection.
Enable GPS server: This setting enables or disables the GPS radio on your S2000e. When the ON/OFF
slider is ON, the device acquires GPS and makes GPS location data available on this page. A GPS
Agreement appears, click Confirm to proceed. When OFF, no GPS data is available.
Status: The current status of your GPS connection. When searching, the device is making the
connection to satellites in order to populate GPS data.
Latitude: Latitude for the last location fix.
Longitude: Longitude for the last location fix.
Speed: Speed the device is traveling at.
Altitude: Altitude for the last location fix.
Accuracy: A measure of the accuracy of the horizontal position obtained by the GPS receiver.
Direction: Direction the device is traveling relative to North.
