About – Primary WAN
Use this tab to view details about your Primary WAN connection.
General
• Radio Access Technology: Indicates whether your router is connected to 4G or 4G LTE
or any network.
• IMEI: The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) for this device. This is a 15 or 17
digit code used to uniquely identify an individual mobile station on a LTE network. The
IMEI does not change when the SIM is changed.
• SIM Status: The status of the SIM card. If the SIM card is missing, or this field indicates
some form of SIM error, connection to the mobile network is not possible.
• ICCID: The unique ID number assigned to the SIM card. This field is blank if there is no
SIM card installed, or a SIM error condition exists.
IP Address and Signal
• IPv4 Address: The Internet IP address assigned to the router.
• IPv6 Address: The global IPv6 address for the router. This will be blank if IPv6 is turned
off or is not supported by the current network connection.
• Signal Strength: The strength of the LTE signal, measured in dBm. Higher absolute
values indicate a stronger signal, for example: -80 dBm is a stronger signal than -90 dBm.
NOTE: LTE signal strength is typically lower than 3G signal strength.
