Why does my coffee taste
bad?
• Make sure that you are using fresh coffee or coffee
beans. Old coffee can taste stale.
• Make sure that you are using good quality coffee or
coffee beans and fresh, clean water.
• You may need to clean your coffee maker. See
Cleaning coffee maker parts on page 8 and
Removing mineral deposits on page 8.
Why does my coffee have a
bad odor?
• This is normal for new appliances. Brew only water
several times to get rid of the odor.
Why is there sediment in
my brewed cup of coffee?
• Make sure that the filter is correctly placed in the
funnel, and the funnel is correctly placed the tank.
If you are using a paper filter, may sure that it is not
curled below the coffee.
