2 Turn on your speaker system.
3 Press the SOURCE button to select “BT” to enter pairing mode.
4 Make sure that your Bluetooth device is within 30 feet of your speaker system.
5 Turn on your Bluetooth device, turn on Bluetooth, then set your device to pairing mode. For
more information, see the documentation that came with your Bluetooth device.
6 On your Bluetooth device, select “NS-HMPS3018”. Your speaker system pairs with the
Bluetooth device.
7 Press PLAY/PAUSE to begin playback. The volume controls are also active.
Note: The Bluetooth device should reconnect to your speaker system automatically when it is turned on.
Basic playback
USB drive
Insert a USB thumbdrive into the USB slot, then press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select
USB.
Microphone playback
Connect an external microphone to the Microphone jack on the top panel of your speaker
system. Use the Microphone Volume knob to adjust the sound level.
Tuner operation
• Press the SOURCE button repeatedly to select TUNER mode.
The following buttons are used in tuner mode:

No power.
Make sure that the AC power cable is connected securely.
No sound or sound is distorted.
Turn up the volume on both your speaker and connected device.
The buttons on the speaker do not work.
Turn o and unplug your speaker system, then reconnect the power cord and turn it on again.

Don’t open the case of this unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to
qualied personnel only.
Turn o the speaker system when not in use. Turn o and disconnect the speaker system
from the AC power supply when it is not being used for a long time.
Don’t install the speaker system in a place exposed to heating sources or direct sunshine.
Don’t install the speaker system in a place exposed to moisture or rain.
Install the speaker system on a horizontal, at, and rm surface with good ventilation. Never
block the vents, which could cause malfunction from overheating.
Use a soft, clean rag to clean the outside of the speaker system. Never clean it with chemicals
or detergent.
Only use attachments/accessories specied by the manufacturer.

BUTTON DESCRIPTION
Press and hold to turn the unit on or o.
Press to check the current battery capacity when the
speaker system is turned on.
Press repeatedly to select a signal source. Options include
Bluetooth, LINE, USB, or TUNER mode.
Press to temporarily pause a playback. Press it again to
resume the playback.
Hold down to disconnect Bluetooth.
Press to skip to the next track.
Press and hold to fast forward.
Press to return to the previous track.
Press and hold to fast-rewind
Use to adjust the volume of the microphone input.
Use to adjust the volume of the speaker.
BUTTON DESCRIPTION
Press and hold to auto scan for radio channels. Press this button
again to stop auto scanning.
Press to skip to the next preset station.
Press to ne tune (increase) the frequency manually.
Press to skip to the previous preset station.
Press to ne tune (decrease) the frequency manually.
