Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to resume disc playback. Volume is set too low. Press the VOL button to increase the volume. Sound is muted. Press the MUTE button to unmute the sound. The disc is inserted incorrectly. Make sure that the disc is placed in the slot with the label side up. The disc is scratched. Try another disc.
