Make sure that you use the correct remote control for the player you are using. Note: For example, remote control A must be used with DVD player A, and remote control B must be used with DVD player B. • Aim the remote control at the sensor on the front of your DVD player. • Make sure that the remote is less than 9.8 ft.
NS-DD10PDVD19 Setting up your DVD player Connecting to AC power CAUTIONS: • When the AC adapter is plugged into a power outlet, your player is not completely disconnected from power, even when the power is turned off. • Make sure that the adapter is easily accessible during use. • Do not use the included AC adapters with other equipment. • When you do not plan to use your players for an extended period of time, unplug the adapters from the wall outlet.
10" Dual Screen Portable DVD Player Connecting your DVD players 1 Plug the AV connecting cable to the AV OUT jack on one player (either DVD player A or B) and to the AV IN jack on the other player. Note: Either player A or B can be the master player. The player with the AV OUT connection is the master player, and the player with the AV IN connection is the secondary player.

Playing a DVD or Audio CD Notes: • Most DVDs and your players have region codes that help control illegal distribution of DVDs. The region code for your player is 1. You can only play DVDs with a region code of 1 or ALL. The region code for a DVD is usually printed on the DVD or the DVD packaging.

You can select: • BRIGHTNESS—Increases the brightness to add more light to dark areas of the picture or decreases the brightness to add more dark to light areas of the picture. • CONTRAST—Increases the contrast level to adjust the white areas of the picture or decreases the contrast level to adjust the black areas of the picture.

If the language you select is not available on the DVD, your player displays the default language. You can select ENGLISH, ESPAÑOL, or FRANÇAIS. • PARENTAL—Some DVDs may have parental levels assigned to the complete DVD or to certain scenes on the DVD. This feature lets you set a playback limitation level.

Notes: • If the PASSWORD MODE option is set to ON, you must enter the password when you select the PARENTAL option to set a rating level. • If the PASSWORD MODE option is set to OFF, you do not need to enter the password. • After you turn on the PASSWORD MODE option and set a rating level, you are prompted for your password when watching content with a higher rating.

Maintaining your player Cleaning your player Clean the outside of your player with a clean cloth, slightly dampened with water. CAUTION: Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners because they may damage your players. Cleaning discs • Before playback, wipe the disc outwards from the center with a clean cloth.

Disc does not play. • Make sure that the disc is inserted with the label side up. • Make sure that the disc is compatible with your player. Your player can play DVDs and Audio CDs. The display has a blue screen. • Press SOURCE to switch the input to DVD. The remote control is not working.
