3 Press the (up), (down), (left), or
(right) on the navigation control to
highlight the Erase Card icon, then press the
center navigation control button. The Erase Card
screen opens.
Or,
Touch the Erase Card icon on the LCD. The Erase
Card screen opens.
4 Press (left) or (right) to highlight
(erases the card), then press the center
navigation control button.
Or,
Touch (erases the card) on the LCD.
Selecting the menu language
You can change the default language used in your
camcorder's on-screen menu.
To select the menu language:
1 Turn on your camcorder.
2 Turn the Mode dial to SET. The on-screen menu
opens.
3 Press the (up), (down), (left), or
(right) on the navigation control to
highlight the Language icon, then press the
center navigation control button. The Language
screen opens.
Or,
Touch the Language icon on the LCD. The
Language screen opens.
4 Press (left) or (right) to select a language,
then press the center navigation control button.
Or,
Touch a language icon on the LCD.
Turning help text on or off
To turn help text on or off:
• Press DISP while in the SET, Video, or Photo
menu.
