Energy Display Owner’s Manual ABOUT ENERGY DISPLAY The Energy Display allows you to view power consumption of your appliances (current power use, average energy use per month, and average cost per month based on your monthly billing rate). Its sleek, compact design uses radio frequency (RF) to communicate and retrieve information from INSTEON power meter devices (e.g., iMeter Solo, #2423A1).

Energy Display Owner’s Manual Temperature Format Setting NOTE: Green text indicates flashing text on the Energy Display screen. Format toggles between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The default is Fahrenheit.

Only perform these steps if re-calibration is necessary. Please allow 20 minutes for temperature to adjust when moving to an area with a significant temperature change.
Energy Display Owner’s Manual ADVANCED FEATURES OF ENERGY DISPLAY Restoring Power to Energy Display Energy Display stores all of its settings, such as Links to other INSTEON devices, with non-volatile memory. Because settings are saved in this non-volatile memory, they will not be lost in the event of a power failure. Resetting Energy Display to its Factory Default Settings The factory reset procedure can be used to clear the Energy Display memory and restore its factory default settings.
Energy Display Owner’s Manual TROUBLESHOOTING Problem The Status LED on Energy Display is not turning on and nothing is displaying on the screen. Possible Cause Solution The batteries may be missing or are inserted improperly. Open the cover on the back of Energy Display to check that the batteries are installed properly (according to the polarity markings). The batteries may be depleted. Replace the batteries with a fresh set.
