Pod Shut-O
Cause
e Pod Shut-O setting is
enabled and you have not
used your Omnipod 5 app in
the Pod Shut-O period that
you specied. e Pod will
stop delivering insulin soon
if you do not respond to this
alarm.
Vibration/Tone
e Pod sounds the alarm.
e Omnipod 5 app also
sounds the alarm, if enabled.
What to do
¾ Tap OK to reset the Pod
Shut-O timer.
Note: To enable or disable the Pod Shut-O feature or to change the countdown
period, see "Pod Shut-O" on page 157.
Start Insulin
Cause
e time period that you
specied to pause insulin has
passed. If you do not start
insulin delivery, you could
develop hyperglycemia.
Vibration/Tone
e Pod sounds the alarm.
e Omnipod 5 app also
sounds the alarm, if enabled,
periodically until insulin
delivery is started.
What to do
Do one of the following:
• If you want to restart
insulin with the Basal
Program, tap START
INSULIN.
• If you want to keep
insulin paused, tap
REMIND ME IN 15 MIN.
Warning: Insulin delivery does not automatically start at the end of the paused
period. You must tap START INSULIN to start insulin delivery. If you do not start
insulin delivery, you could develop hyperglycemia.
