For remote acces and remote maintenance applica-
tions
With the compact INSYS ISDN every application can easily be
connected to the digital ISDN network. With its serial interface
almost every PLC can use this ISDN adapter.
Beside the data communication the device offers alarm and
security functions: alarm messages triggered by digital inputs
send via SMS, fax and e-mail. The text message is defi ned
freely.
Remote confi guration is proteced by password. Selective call
answer allows only data calls from specifi ed numbers.
The digital outputs can be controlled remotely. They can be
confi gurated to display the connection status as well.
